One of the things that I love the most about living in LA is that there’s music everywhere. Going to live shows is one of my favorite things to do and being in this city has made it a lot easier; since there’s always something to go to. Not only have I experienced more shows, but I’ve also discovered new music as well as new artists.
Singer-songwriter Brookelyn Rose recently released her new single, ‘Promises’, a very raw and emotional song. Her deep and powerful vocals make this song so much stronger that it will make you think back on times you might have felt similar emotions (past breakups). Her lyrics took me back to situations from the past which doesn’t always happen.
You know a song is good when it makes you think back on memories, relationships and life in general. The combination of Brookelyn’s amazing voice and her honest lyrics makes this song stand out.
Brookelyn Rose will be performing at Silverlake Lounge on October 19th. Tickets are available online and at the door! So if you enjoy listening to live music and you’re ready for a voice that can probably fill a whole venue, I’d recommend going to see this girl.
