Lee Foss, producer and DJ from Chicago came to visit the wonderful city of Dallas and played at It’ll Do Club last Saturday. After probably having one hell of an outrageous night from playing at Brooklyn, New York with the beautiful Anabel Englund he still put on a great show here in Dallas. It was my first time going to It’ll Do and I very much enjoyed it.

Lee Foss’ music has become one of my daily listens and seeing him live was something else. It’ll Do’s ambiance gave such a personal and comfortable vibe that it was hard not to enjoy it. Turns out his family was even there to see him perform is that Father’s Day was the next day. And from what I saw I wasn’t the only one having a good time; every time I turned around the crowd was all there for Lee Foss.

His set ended with two of my favorite songs –Reverse Skydiving and Electricity– which he usually performs with Anabel Englund, sadly she wasn’t there. I have yet to experience Hot Natured — the electronic music group Lee Foss has with both Jamie Jones and Anabel Englund — as well as Pleasure State — electronic music group he has with MK and Anabel Englund.
