A-trak, my favorite Canadian DJ, record producer, and owner of the well-known record label Fool’s Gold. He started Djing at a young age and has won numerous awards for his tremendous talent. A-trak has worked with a variety of artists including Kanye West — who recruited him in 2004 as his personal tour DJ. And later in 2009 he got together with Armand Van Helden to form the duo production known as Duck Sauce. 

He is a really well-known DJ. I’m pretty sure many of the songs he’s done himself or for Duck Sauce have been heard by everyone. My personal favorites are “Tuna Melt” and the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Heads Will Roll” remix.

I’ve seen him live twice in my life and I might get to see him again this upcoming weekend at Austin. I am really excited because his music just makes me want to dance and enjoy myself. I mean who doesn’t love that? Besides he has a special charisma that makes me like him even more.

Oh, and did I mention his older brother is the handsome lead singer of the electrofunk duo Chromeo —Dave 1. Yeah… so you can imagine how good looking he is.

So if anyone is interested and is planning on going to Austin next weekend, A-trak will be playing there. You can’t miss it!
