It’s been almost a week since I danced and enjoyed myself to Maceo Plex at Kingdom in Austin, TX. It was an on and off concert situation at first being that I wasn’t sure if I would be attending the sold out event. I sold my ticket and then ended up regretting it due to the last minute Austin road trip. It was a little bit of a chaos at first (trying to find another and more expensive ticket), but totally worth the travel.

As many already know, Maceo Plex always knows how to put a good show.The event was sold out for a reason and even then people were willing to pay $100 to get inside the venue. Kingdom is actually one of the coolest places to go listen to good music for long hours. It’s one of the few places that I know in Texas that has after-hours.

I don’t think I had ever seen Kingdom that packed, and even then there wasn’t a point where I felt uncomfortable. It was a pretty amazing night. I’m also excited to share that Maceo will be playing in Dallas next month (March 2nd) at It’ll Do Club. So if you’ve never seen this dude and you live close or in Dallas, don’t hesitate on going. Even if you’ve already seen him, what can be better than dancing to live music?
